Join us in person or online!

We love kids at Freedom Church! Our goal is to help kids capture how big God’s love is for them by creating an unforgettable experience every Sunday.

We get kids excited about Jesus and help them build their faith by using Bible stories, songs, group activities, and curriculums designed for kids 6 weeks old through 5th grade. Kids are divided into three groups to best meet the needs of children in different stages of development. Freedom Kids meet at every campus during each worship experience.

Check-in & Safety

Your child is important to us. On your first visit, we need the following personal information: parent/legal guardian names, children’s names and birthdates, address, phone number and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for each child.

Your child’s safety is our first priority. All Freedom Kids volunteers pass a background check, and we have our own security team to ensure your child’s safety. We use a security tag system for child check-in and pick-up.  For the safety of all children, we do not allow parents to go beyond the check-in stations at any location.

FAQ'S

  • Do I need to pre-register my child for a Freedom Kids gathering? Yes, visit myfreedom.org/reservations to attend an in-person gathering and select the appropriate “Freedom Kids” ticket option to register your child to attend Freedom Kids while you worship in the adult gathering.

  • Will there still be Kids Check-In? For the safety of your child, Kids Check-In will still be required. Remember to keep your parent tag to show our team at Check-Out when you pick up your child. If Kids Check-In is taking place outdoors at your campus, our check in team will also scan your pre-registration tickets so have your e-ticket ready. Check out our check in virtual tour to locate your check in and check out locations

  • Are masks required? Mask requirements follow your county guidelines. For Harford and Cecil Counties, masks are required for ages five and up. For Baltimore County, masks are required for ages two and up.

  • Will temperatures be checked? When you pre-register for a gathering, you will agree to taking temperatures before arriving to the campus as well as agreeing that if any member of your family’s temperature is above average, you are experiencing any illness symptoms, or have been in direct contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, you will join us for online gatherings.

  • Are parents allowed inside of the kids environments? At this time, we are only allowing kids team members and our Freedom Kids inside to limit exposure.

  • Will there be capacity limits set for each environment? Yes, room capacities are in place and meet or are lower than CDC and State recommendations.

  • Will Freedom Kids be sanitized? Yes! We will continue to sanitize and clean every environment in Freedom Kids between each gathering and materials in between uses.

  • Will materials still be used? Yes. Hands on materials are essential for a child’s learning, engagement, and fun! Materials and toys will be switched out between gatherings with fresh, new materials and toys. In small groups, children will have individual bags prepared with their materials. Toys will be sanitized between use to avoid sharing germs.

  • Will my child still get to learn their weekly lessons and engage with their peers? Absolutely. We understand that kids are kids! We are ready to make Freedom Kids feel as fun, engaging, and ready to develop meaningful relationships with their peers and group leaders all while staying safe.

  • What if a child becomes ill? If a kid begins to feel ill, shows symptoms of being sick, or develops a fever, they will head to a designated room with their small group leader and parents will be contacted by phone immediately to come and pick up their child.

  • Should I bring my child’s diaper bag? Yes, please bring your child’s diaper bag along with diapers, wipes, and any other needed items inside. At Kids Check-In, you will have the opportunity to hang your diaper bag on a designated rack along with a nursery care card provided to you to attach with your child’s information. During the gathering, the rack will remain outside of the nursery environment door and accessed with gloves if needed.

  • Will my child’s diaper be changed if needed? As before, the nursery team will follow your instructions you’ve given to them on the nursery care card attached to your child’s diaper bag. If the answer is “Yes,” our team will continue to change your child's diaper if needed and will continue to wear gloves and use a disposable changing pad for each child. A sticker will be placed on your diaper bag if it was used to change your child.

  • How can I be as prepared as possible for in person gatherings? Make your family reservations early in the week, be sure you know where your kids check in and check out locations are at your campus by watching this video, and stay flexible with us to make this the best possible experience for all of our families.

  • Will Freedom Kids Online still be available? Yes, our online experience and resources are not going anywhere.
