FiftySix
[5th – 6th grade]
We love kids at Freedom Church! Our goal is to help kids capture how big God’s love is for them by creating an unforgettable experience every Sunday.
We get kids excited about Jesus and help them build their faith by using Bible stories, songs, group activities, and curriculums designed for kids 6 weeks old through 5th grade. Kids are divided into three groups to best meet the needs of children in different stages of development. Freedom Kids meet at every campus during each worship experience.
[Programs are available at every time and location.]

FiftySix
[5th – 6th grade]
During fifth and sixth grade, students will answer this question: Am I going to follow Jesus for myself? In this phase, it becomes personal and we want to provide the best possible environment for fifth and sixth graders to understand who God is and why He’s worth following.
At FiftySix, students will have the opportunity to connect in real community with peers and group leaders who love and care about this phase of life. Together they will get to engage in our worship experience and spend thirty minutes digging into God’s Word to discover the God we serve, why it matters, and how we can apply it to our life. Join us for what we believe is one of the most important phases of a child’s life.
FiftySix takes place during the 11AM Gathering at the Bel Air and Rising Sun Campuses.
Check-In
Students can begin checking in 15 minutes before each gathering and join their group in the Growth Track room.
Worship
FiftySix students will remain in the main auditorium and worship together.
Group Time
When the worship experience ends, students will walk together to the Growth Track room at their campus and go deeper with God and find true community with each other.
Check Out
At the end of the gathering, students will check out from the Growth Track environment at their campus.
Yes, fifth graders are still able to be checked into Freedom Kids.
FiftySix is simply for fifth and sixth graders who are ready for the next phase.
Yes, sixth graders are still invited to join Freedom Students. FiftySix is provided to give connection and build a bridge into Freedom Students when they are ready. Sixth graders are welcome to attend both.
Check In will continue to be outside of the K-5th environment.
FiftySix students may begin checking in 15 minutes prior to the start of the gathering and join their group leader in the Growth Track room.
Immediately following worship in the main auditorium, group leaders will escort their groups to the Growth Track room at your campus.
Each week, fifth and sixth graders will have the opportunity to connect with their peers and group leader in a real life community group just for them. During this time, students will dig deeper into the Bible to learn a story and using group discussion questions discover what God is trying to teach us and how it applies to our lives. Each week group leaders will end with asking one simple question: “How can I pray for you?”
Check out will take place in the Growth Track room at your campus.
Be prepared with your parent tag to show to your child’s group leader.
Your child is important to us.
On your first visit, we need the following personal information: parent/legal guardian names, children’s names and birthdates, address, phone number and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for each child.
Your child’s safety is our first priority. All Freedom Kids volunteers pass a background check, and we have our own security team to ensure your child’s safety. We use a security tag system for child check-in and pick-up. For the safety of all children, we do not allow parents to go beyond the check-in stations at any location.
Tell us you’re new so we can help. Let our welcome team know you’re new and we’ll escort you to Freedom Kids check-in.
Yes! We will continue to sanitize and clean every environment in Freedom Kids between each gathering and materials in between uses.
Absolutely. We understand that kids are kids! We are ready to make Freedom Kids feel as fun, engaging, and ready to develop meaningful relationships with their peers and group leaders all while staying safe.
Yes, please bring your child’s diaper bag along with diapers, wipes, and any other needed items inside. At Kids Check-In, you will have the opportunity to hang your diaper bag on a designated rack along with a nursery care card provided to you to attach with your child’s information. During the gathering, the rack will remain outside of the nursery environment door and accessed with gloves if needed.
The nursery team will follow your instructions you’ve given to them on the nursery care card attached to your child’s diaper bag. If the answer is “Yes,” our team will continue to change your child’s diaper if needed and will continue to wear gloves and use a disposable changing pad for each child. A sticker will be placed on your diaper bag if it was used to change your child.
