We believe that all it takes is one encounter with Jesus to change eternity for a student. We also believe that a student living with God’s word as the foundation for their identity sets the stage for them to be able to put their personal faith into action.

At student camp 2023, our goal is to create an environment for every student to have a personal encounter with Jesus. We want every student to leave camp understanding that they can change the world they are living in!

This will be a few days jam-packed with competition, worship, laughter, authentic community and God’s word.

WE LOVE GROUPS

Groups are the heartbeat of Freedom Church. As we grow big, we want to stay small and that doesn’t stop with Freedom Kids. At camp, kids will be plugged into a small group of kids who are the same age and gender along with a group leader they see in Freedom Kids on Sundays. We believe that through the power of relationships formed in their groups life change happens!

We never want finances to be a reason a child can’t come to camp. That’s why we’ve set up a scholarship fund where you can give.

FAQ's

Will my child be safe?

Your student’s safety is of the utmost importance to us! Each adult on campus will have secured a background check. Students will be placed in cabins based on their age and gender. Bathrooms are gender specific and adults on campus will never shower at the same time as students! We will have certified lifeguards and medical staff on site to administer medication or make emergency decisions if needed. Our trained security team will be present at all hours.

What about covid guidelines?

We will monitor and follow the current county guidelines at the time of camp. As always, supplies and activity areas are sanitized after each activity.

Is there an easy payment plan for camp?

Yes! At the time of registration you will be asked for a minimum deposit for each child. After that you will be able to continue to make payments on the amount up until July 24th. Final payments are due by July 24th.

What should my student pack?

We remember how much fun we had packing for camp, so be sure to check your email closer to June for a detailed list!

What about meals and snacks?

All meals and snacks are included in your registration. Water will be provided throughout the day on the campground.

How can I contact you?

A phone number will be provided to you the week prior to camp through your registration email. If there is an emergency, you may use this number to contact our camp team.

What if my child needs to take medicine or has an emergency?

A licensed medical staff will be at camp at all times. At the time of check in, you will be able to check your student’s medication in to our nurse.

Can my student bring their cell phone?

Our goal is that your student has the absolute BEST time encountering God and building community with friends. Because of this, we’re asking that your student does not bring his or her cell phone to camp. Our student team will have their phones should the need arise.
